Embroidery floss ... By: sueintexas. on 03 May 09, 01:39:36 Embroidery floss probably won't work. Nymo, Silamide or superlon are good threads because you can match the color to the beads. You can also use fireline. It is strong but only comes in crystal and smoke.

You can certainly ... By: JewelrySupply. on 04 Aug 08, 16:59:50 You can certainly use round beads! You may have to keep your work a bit more tense while weaving because a round bead won't "lock" into place like a bead with more angles would. Also, keep in mind that you don't have to stick with one shape throughout the whole weaving either, you can mix round and biconed, square and oval (as an example) - just as long as the size is about the same.
Can you do this ... By: hellokittyigfa. on 02 Aug 08, 11:55:12 Can you do this with circular/round beads, or do they have to be the shape that yours are?

None of these are ... By: SuperLilGem. on 10 Jan 10, 16:22:03 None of these are bead caps, as you called them at the start of the vid. Bead caps are an entirely different finding & are used for decorating around the hole of a bead or capping it. These are all bead tips & the ones with the hook that you roll over are also known as 'callottes'. As I repair jewellery for a living I wouldn't recommend using a crimp at the end of beading wire inside a callotte as these crimps can easily slide off. Bead tips are best used with soft threads (Nymo, silk).
