The original bracelet in the video is not for sale, but to make another, the cost would be around 500.00
Many hours of intricate beadwork and so many beads used, I didn't count them : )
The bracelets begin with focal beads and then bead embroidery is done around them.....one thing leads to another and before you know it, you have a completed work of art : )

The focal bead "spirit bird" was purchased years ago in a quaint little shop in the North Carolina Mountains.
The hand carved bead was the inspiration for the bracelet.

I use size 11/0 and 15/0 to "bead bezel" a cabochon on silk. Basically the same as tubular peyote, but this is used for decorative effect as well as function to hold the cab in place. You can bezel any kind of cab, any size this way.

I took the day off yesterday to attend a trade show for the sewing and embroidery industry. Bead embellishment, and hot fix crystals are a hot new trend in computerized embroidery, so I ended up picking up a few things that have absolutely nothing to do with my day job. Crazy busy day. I work in the computerized embroidery field, and have for the last 20 years, so the thread I use is either 40 weight polyester or rayon on big ol cones. We use big, multi head embroidery machines that crank out hundreds of pieces a day. I can't tell you how much embroidery floss I went through as a girl. I sold hand embroidered denim jackets in high school, and crewel embroidery was a long time passion of mine. :)

The stitich I use is backstitch and I take just 2 beads at a time to make it as tight as possible. For the edge I use brickstitch and for securing the cabachon I use peyote. Thank you! Yeah, I finished it! This is a small beaded bag I made, and I show you how I did it. :) This is a flat bag, which means it has no side or bottom panels. Way easier that way, and still really cute. I bezeled in some Rivolis for the headlights on the car. While simple, it's still a multi-step process. Take your time!
